We are looking for an experienced specialty barista and front of house person to join the growing team at 13th Floor Coffee. Baristas will be expected to work at both our sites in Stoke Newington and Highbury Fields.
A bit about us – 13th Floor set up in March 2021 by the team behind End of The Road festival. Starting from a converted vintage horsebox trailer in the grounds of St. Mary’s Church, opposite Clissold Park in Stoke Newington and recently adding our 2nd location, in Highbury Fields. Our aim is to create a welcoming and relaxed environment for staff and customers alike, and to serve the best coffee the area has to offer. We are currently in partnership with Elsewhere Coffee, who supply our beans and offer bespoke training as part of their package with us, so there will be a chance to hone skills and learn along the way. In the trailers we have a La Marzocco machines and VA grinders, and are hot coffees, iced coffees, teas, hot chocolate, juices and pastries from nearby Brunswick Bakehouse. The business has plans to expand to a bricks and mortar cafe, so this would be an excellent opportunity for someone with good experience looking to develop with the company and have input over time. What we are looking for in our new team member:
– Friendly and engaging customer service – At least 1 years’ experience in the speciality coffee hospitality – A love of good coffee and food – Understanding of sales and stock management – Proactive and forward thinking – Desire to develop skills and grow with the business – Able to work weekends
